Immunologix is an antibody development company founded on a proprietary method of converting naïve B-cells to fully mature human antibodies targeting any antigen. This technology platform represents a paradigm shift in the way antibodies are derived as only Immunologix can generate fully human antibodies using a 100% in vitro system. This system produces human monoclonal antibodies against any target including bacterial and viral antigens as well as tumor antigens and human auto-antigens.
With an international exclusive license from the Medical University of South Carolina, Immunologix delivers on a key unmet need in antibody-based therapeutics. This rapidly growing market exceeded 30 billion dollars in 2009 yet all currently approved antibodies are non-human products. Immunologix’s exclusive technology begins with tonsils or whole blood and provides fully human antibodies, including scale-up quantities necessary for clinical trials, of any known protein/antigen in a fully in vitro system.
